Join us for a journey south through Burgundy and into the heart of Beaujolais, as we explore the fascinating and often misunderstood relationship between these two iconic regions.
This evening is a chance to taste and compare, as we look at the stylistic shift from the elegant Pinot Noir of Southern Burgundy to the vibrant, fruit-forward Gamay of Beaujolais. We'll explore the shared terroir—from limestone to granite—and see how it shapes these two very different grapes into wines of incredible character and charm.
You may be a seasoned Burgundy lover and new to the world of (good) Gamay, and so this is a perfect opportunity to deepen your appreciation for this captivating corner of France.
Our wine dinners are relatively intimate evenings which include a three course meal and accompanying wines on a set theme. They are enjoyable and social occasions and suitable for all wine lovers, as well as those who just want a good night out!
