Elegance and suppleness characterize the palate with a frank attack that melts into a round of aromas of jam, pepper and spices. The reminder of a generous sun at altitude in the exquisite finesse of the tannins. A wine that will have many good years ahead of it.

Vintage: 2019

Produced by Peter Sichel

2019 was the year of going back to basics. Alexander Sichel , grandson of Peter Sichel, decided to take over the vineyard and offer it a bright future with exceptional wines. Sharing the same love for the Cucugnan valley and its wine potential as his grandfather, he pays homage to by renaming Château Trillol “Domaine Peter Sichel”

The area of the vineyard was studied and reduced by 50%, taking care to preserve the best plots of vines. In addition to the reduction in the area of the vineyard, the desire to evolve with the times and to affirm the environmental values of the estate led that same year to a conversion to organic and biodynamic agriculture.
