Louis Pommery England Rosé

Created in an assemblage method, our Rosé looks to capture the vibrant red fruit aromas of Pinot Noir, marrying them with the finesse of Chardonnay, the structure of Pinot Meunier and the texture offered by Pinot Gris. Pinot Noir, clone 777, from our south-facing Adonis Block is grown and vinified as a premium red wine component, 8% of the blend, providing aromatic complexity and contributing to the wine’s beautiful salmon pink hue.

Crafted from their home vineyard in Hampshire, Pinglestone Estate, which enjoys vantage points over the stunning South Downs National Park and the pristine waters of the River Itchen and the River Arle. Regenerative farming is practiced, with a strong commitment to ecological sensitivity and biodiversity.

Pinot Noir 40%, Chardonnay 35%, Pinot Meunier 20%, Pinot Gris 5%

Grape Varieties: Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Meunier

Tasting Notes

Delicate salmon pink hue with a persistent mousse.

The vibrant nose presents English hedgerow fruits of wild strawberry and raspberry, accompanied by alluring notes of apple blossom. Crisp minerality, typical of Pinglestone Estate’s chalky soil underlying wonderfully vibrant red berry fruit, creamy texture and fine bubbles.
