Rozés 10 Year Old Tawny

Rozès 10 Years Old Infanta Isabel is a rich, elegant and generous port wine. That is the reason why it has the name of a Portuguese princess from Middle Ages, known for her generosity and kindness. Aged for 10 years in oak casks at the cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia, this wine is the result of a careful selection of wines produced with the main red grape varieties from the Douro region.

Produced by Rozés

House Rozès was founded in 1855 by Ostende Rozès. All of their Vineyards are exclusively A-rated vines, the highest mark for the delimited Douro Valley. They have their production facility in Régua, in the heart of the Douro Valley, far from the head office located in Vila Nova de Gaia. Both the cellars in Gaia and the vineyard of the Douro Valley are listed as World Heritage by Unesco.

The site, geology and sun exposure are vital for Port wines. Summers are tough and the soil in Rozés' vineyards is predominantly schist..

The Douro region is an officially delimited area protected by European legislation, which guarantees an optimum quality : it is the oldest AOC (PDO) since 1756.
