Rozés Ruby Port

Rozès Ruby is a blend of selected wines from several years, aged for at least 3 years in oak casks at our cellars. This wine is characterised by its colour and freshness. Produced in demarcated region of the Douro in Portugal.

Produced by Rozés

House Rozès was founded in 1855 by Ostende Rozès. All of their Vineyards are exclusively A-rated vines, the highest mark for the delimited Douro Valley. They have their production facility in Régua, in the heart of the Douro Valley, far from the head office located in Vila Nova de Gaia. Both the cellars in Gaia and the vineyard of the Douro Valley are listed as World Heritage by Unesco.

The site, geology and sun exposure are vital for Port wines. Summers are tough and the soil in Rozés' vineyards is predominantly schist..

The Douro region is an officially delimited area protected by European legislation, which guarantees an optimum quality : it is the oldest AOC (PDO) since 1756.
