EVENT : MAX SICHEL WINE DINNER SEPTEMBER 9th

Join Brompton Wine for a wonderful wine dinner on September 9th.

We have waited patiently, and at last we are delighted to announce the return of our popular wine dinners. Please do come along as we get together over our twin passions of food and wine for an event that will be as informative as it is enjoyable. For us, wine is as much about the stories and the people behind it as it is the liquid in the glass, and so we are thrilled to have been able to arrange Max Sichel, of the renowned Sichel wine family from Bordeaux, as our host.

Max works with Maison Sichel and Château Angludet and will talk us through an amazing Left Bank vs Right Bank tasting. Our wines will include....

From the left bank...
Château Angludet – 2010 and 2015 Margaux

And from the right bank...
Château Fonplegade 2010 Grand Cru Classe Saint-Emilion
Château Fonplegade 2016 Grand Cru Classe

And - as if that isn't enough - we will also enjoy some Château Argadens and Lions de Suduiraut, 2015 Sauternes to finish off the evening. Chin chin!

These wines will be accompanied by canapés, a starter, a main and a dessert - courtesy of our old friends David Hughes and Limpet Baron of Café Tangerine (menu to follow.)

And our venue for all of the above is the Institut Francais in South Kensington.

Tickets are £80 per head, this includes all wine and the menu as above. We are not exaggerating in the slightest when we say that this will be a feast.

A word on seating arrangements -
We want to ensure that all of our guests feel comfortable at our first live event! Tables are available for parties of 2,4 or 6, and you are welcome to choose how you wish to be seated. The light and airy dining room at the Institute has plenty of space... so rest assured that there will be no sardines in a tin can here!
